Okean Elzy: Behind the Scenes

Well, being behind the scenes at Okean Elzy’s photoshoot for their 30th anniversary was nothing short of extraordinary. Slava Vakarhcuk, The Legend, (still from my BTS video) I had the immense privilege of documenting this milestone alongside the incredibly talented Katya Kondratieva. This was a shoot for the cover of the new album and posters for the 30th-anniversary concert of the band Okean Elzy. I must admit, Okean Elzy has been my favorite Ukrainian band since childhood, which made it even more special to be part of this project.

The energy on set was electric, filled with a mix of nostalgia and excitement.  For me, being part of such a historic moment was unforgettable and a profound honor. Okean Elzy’s music has touched millions, and witnessing them in this intimate setting, celebrating their legacy, was both humbling and exhilarating.

It’s an experience I’ll carry with me forever, a testament to the power of music and art to bring people together and tell stories that stand the test of time.
