Karen Chukhadzhian vs Jaron Ennis: Documentary Preparation

Well, I can finally present our short documentary about Ukrainian boxer Karen Chukhadzian and his preparation for the most important fight of his career — for the IBF title in the middleweight division.

Although Karen Chukhadzian is a very modest person, he is currently one of the brightest boxers of the new generation in Ukrainian boxing. So our team simply could not ignore such an event as a world championship fight and decided to create this promo video about Karen. I, Oleksandr Melnykov, served as the author and director of the film, and Dasha Golubkova was the creative producer.

As the mandatory IBF title challenger, Karen prepared for a rematch against Jarron Ennis under very difficult conditions — in Kyiv, during the war, which of course took its toll. This documentary tells the story of his preparation, ambitions, and relationship with coach Vyacheslav Senchenko. I remind you that the fight will take place on November 9 in Philadelphia.

In the film, we dive into the behind-the-scenes process: from early morning training at 7 a.m. to work in the gym with sparring partners. One of them was the promising Ukrainian boxer Zoravor Petrosyan.

Ennis, who won their first meeting, will defend the IBF middleweight championship title and has stated that this time he will try to knock out his opponent. But Karen made it clear that he, in turn, is going to the USA only for victory — he strives to win and make his contribution to the history of Ukrainian boxing.
